Nico (Mulder) is marketing strategy manager at Amsterdam Marketing (“I amsterdam”). He will (co)present how Amsterdam copes with increasing amounts of visitors and now uses (and connects) data to develop innovative solutions to influence and optimise how people learn about, understand and experience the destination. He presents the most evident take aways of their latest experiment ‘LiveLines’, in which Amsterdam Marketing teamed up with partners to show visitors real time waiting times at 10 popular tourist attractions. Result: 50.000 users in 3 months time, a satisfaction rate of a 8+, of which 70% stated to have been influenced by data shown and used.
