As a marketing strategist Wendy Weijdema is always looking for new and improved ways to reach goals. By combining her marketing, branding and organisational skills, she has been able to co-create a working business model for Dutch DMO Marketing-Oost. Wendy has a deep understanding of stakeholder and political interest and complex organisational structures that makes her the perfect fit for complex projects. She also worked at the Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions as a senior marketing strategist and is renowned for her thorough knowledge and experience in the field of strategic marketing, business models, tourism, sustainability and agriculture. This gives her a broader perspective on marketing and the future role of the DMO. In her spare time Wendy likes to cycle.
