This workshop is designed for LVEP staff members who want to build practical AI skills. You don't need technical experience. Whether you're new to AI or have dabbled before, the training meets you where you are and moves at a pace that works for busy professionals.
Absolutely. The morning session covers AI fundamentals from the ground up. You'll learn prompt engineering through hands-on practice, not theory. By lunchtime you'll be creating real content. No prior experience required.
Bring a laptop and your curiosity. We'll provide everything else including the workbook, configured tools, and all materials you need. You might want to bring notes on challenges you face in your role so you can work through them during the afternoon session.
The workshop is completely free for LVEP staff members. This is a joint initiative between VisitEngland and Digital Tourism Think Tank to build AI skills across the visitor economy. You only need to register to secure your place.
You'll receive twelve months of access to the Digital Tourism Think Tank Academy where you can continue learning and stay updated on new AI developments. You'll also join a peer community of LVEPs across England so you can share ideas and support each other.
