That’s the strategy of Visit Pittsburgh, the destination marketing organization tasked with replacing the old Steel Town image with the reality of an exciting urban city on the rise. Join Molly Allwein from Visit Pittsburgh and Amrita Gurney from CrowdRiff for a hands on session on using user-generated content in your blog, website, advertising and more, to transform people’s perceptions of your destination.

Amrita Gurney

Amrita Gurney is the Vice President of Marketing at CrowdRiff, where she leads a team responsible for brand, content, product marketing and demand generation. Prior to CrowdRiff, Amrita served in leadership roles at Audiobooks.com and innovation design firm Normative. Amrita holds an MBA from Babson College in Wellesley, MA. She loves digital marketing, contemporary art, drinking tea and travelling. 

Molly Allwein

Molly Allwein is the Digital Marketing Manager at VisitPITTSBURGH. She manages the organization's digital content including the website, blog, and social media, with the intent of showcasing Pittsburgh as an innovative and evolving destination for leisure and convention travelers alike. Molly is an up-and-coming leader in the Pittsburgh community. A current participant of Leadership Pittsburgh's Leadership Development Initiative cohort and a member of the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania's TOGETHER Leading Program, Molly is interested in increasing her leadership skills and working with and learning from diverse women.
