What you can expect
The team at the Observatory are passionate about design and content. For Campus 2018 they're putting all their resources at your disposal to show the work that goes into creating the incredible brand, as they have done with the Visit Jersey.
This workshop, which spans two half days, gives you experience of the full end-to-end production process and how a really successful content team comes together. If you're thinking about creating, working on building or actively in flow as content team, this workshop helps you consider how you work from every angle, led by a really passionate team of creatives.
Led by a set of talented film makers, you'll head out to discover #theislandbreak on a content mission to source and shoot incredible content to work actively on the continued development of VisitJersey's brand story. Not only will you have the chance to get hands-on shooting on location but you'll also look at the raft of critical steps leading up to a great shoot, sourcing location, casting real people to model, looking at light, conditions and permissions as well as the team and timing.
Back in the studio, you'll get to work with a brilliant post-production team who will show all the work that goes into preparing and finishing content for publishing. Here you'll look at how to approach the post-production to ensure the right brand fit but also getting formats right depending on audiences and channels.

Meet Ben, a Creative Director striving for results and polished execution tirelessly, always backed up with a passion for design. With over 20 years of industry experience in multiple sectors from MoD black ops, Premiership football clubs, Japanese cyber defence, destination marketing, regenerating Parisian retailers to working alongside businesses striving to be the biggest lifestyle brands in the world, Ben has had a colourful career as a creative and loves a good story. The Observatory is a hybrid agency/studio model that works with both internal teams and global freelancers to ensure that no challenge is ever too big. Yet!
