The DTTT Academy returns with a two day Design Thinking Fundamentals training programme, in-person and set to a place based challenge. In this immersive and highly interactive training programme, you'll gain all the skills needed to use Design Thinking as an innovation method within your day-to-day work.

Design Thinking is a critical skill required in today's workforce allowing you to tackle any challenge, from pain-points in the user journey to major challenges seen in the overall guest experience. We'll teach you the skills needed to tackle the five key pillars of Design Thinking, working on real-life user scenarios and going out into the field to test your hypothesis and challenge your assumptions.

In this course, we'll cover:

  1. Defining
  2. Empathising
  3. Understanding
  4. Ideating
  5. Prototyping

Within each module, you'll learn why, how and where to apply different techniques to ensure your design processes is fully evaluated against user needs. Lastly, you'll learn how to push your creative capacity further, to push absurd ideation towards realistic solutions.

The programme will connect you with a diverse and empowered team of peers from a wide variety of backgrounds, where you'll learn together, synthesise findings in teams and leave with life-long skills and friendships.
