Lindsay Herbert has been creating and leading digitally transformative strategies for large-scale international businesses, charities and organisations for over 10 years. As the Global Head of Digital for Precedent, an award-winning international digital agency with 150 staff worldwide, she has lent a personal hand at radically innovating major clients across a wide range of sectors, from The UK Intellectual Property Office to Monash University in Australia.
Passionate about new technology and user experience, Lindsay regularly speaks at major conferences, seminars and events worldwide, including a keynote at The Drum's upcoming Customer Experience Conference in London. In addition to co-authoring many of Precedent’s reports on digital strategy and customer experience, Lindsay is currently writing her first book. The book, 'BUILD: The new model for achieving digital innovation’, is based on her own experiences, plus insights from interviews with traditional organisations who have succeed in implementing and sustaining major innovations using digital.
Originally hailing from Canada, Lindsay began her career as a professional print journalist and photographer before transitioning from print to web and embarking on a new path in web development, design and strategic consultancy.
