Mieke Smid is the coordinating press officer for The Hague Marketing, a company that is responsible for both the national and international promotion of The Hague as a city trip destination. Mieke was the initiator of the first bloggers house of Holland: The Hague Bloggers House and was responsible for the project. In the first season the bloggers house accommodated over 30 influencers from different countries. This resulted in over 300 stories, more than a few million impressions and over a 100,000 interactions. The tailor-made approach – in absolutely everything - together with giving the influencers complete freedom in what they should post, made this project a huge success. The entire project was performed and executed in-house.
