#DTTT's Mobile Blog Series

Surpassing all expectations, the penetration of mobile devices is growing and revolutionising the world of travel and tourism. Businesses have to adapt fast in order to deliver unique and memorable mobile user experiences. But what is the best way forward?

Delivering unique mobile experiences is hard. While there are many approaches and resources out there, they do not address the specific needs of the travel and tourism industry.

That is why we have decided to create a series of blog posts dedicated to critical issues and challenges that travel and tourism businesses face when it comes to delivering content on mobile devices. In order to make the content relevant and helpful, we have gathered feedback from more than 30 destinations. The topics address critical issues, highly relevant to destinations and travel and tourism businesses:

Topic 1: The Iterative approach to designing a mobile strategy

Topic 2: Best practices for mobile content or how to deliver a seamless mobile user experience

Topic 3: Going local with mobile maps, Augmented Reality and location-based services

Topic 4: Learning from and for mobile customers through analytics and user research

Topic 5: Effective mobile marketing and advertising strategies

The articles take into account the needs of tourism destinations and businesses who have mobile offerings, or are planning to "go mobile". Here are 5 reasons why you should read this blog:

    • Each article addresses critical and relevant points, important for your overall mobile presence
    • The content will help you reflect critically about your mobile offerings and products
    • Each article provides expert advice relevant to issues within the travel and tourism industry
    • The content will help you turn messy ideas into concrete solutions
    • The blog will help you stay up to date with current developments
