One of the main objectives of this module will be to focus on how DMOs can directly involve the users in the promotion, and how they can encourage them to take action, ask to be heard and lead change from bottom to top. Ultimately, without them, real and tangible change won't be possible to its full extent.

After completing Module 4, you can expect to be able to communicate your Sustainability Journey effectively. This includes:

  • Setting out a clear vision.
  • Communicating a purpose and values.
  • Avoiding greenwashing.
  • Understanding diversity, equity and inclusivity.
  • Effectively communicating transparency with digital consumers.
  • Understanding the responsibility and opportunity of communication.
