What are you doing on a day-to-day basis to champion inclusion in the industry?

Can you tell us about a project you have worked on or led?

In the run-up to and during events, Romy considers all options to ensure inclusivity for attendees. She will research transportation options to make the event accessible wherever you are arriving from on the day. She also ensures a wide variety of food options are available to cater to different dietary needs.

Romy's commitment to inclusion extends beyond physical accessibility. She actively encourages everyone to participate in workshops, regardless of their prior knowledge of the topic. Workshops are designed with clear explanations and introductions suitable for everyone and activities might be structured to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants and speakers.

Furthermore, Romy fosters a welcoming environment where attendees can connect and network with each other. She values input from the entire team during the planning process, ensuring everyone feels involved. Romy even encourages her team to network and actively participate in all event activities, creating a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere for both attendees and staff.
