Katarina Thorstensson

Katarina Thorstensson is an experienced strategist, advisor and moderator with deep expertise in sustainable destination development, management & innovation. Her leading the sustainability work of the destination has resulted in Gothenburg being awarded #1 by Global Destination Sustainability Index 2016–2021. She also led the city’s winning candidature for European Capital of Smart Tourism 2020 and is currently engaged in the digital transformation of the destination and the DMO to ensure and accelerate the next level of the sustainable destination.
