Capability that
stays in the team

Our suite of seven specialist programmes equips destination teams to navigate digital governance, oversee sustainability frameworks and manage structural change. Built directly based on DTTT's expertise, these on-demand programmes ensure permanent skills retention across your DMO through complete membership access.

Why we build these programmes

AI capability and governance programmes for destination leaders.

Built directly from our working engagements with DMO teams, two distinct programmes support responsible technology integration. The first equips staff with practical capabilities to extract clear operational value from AI applications. The second provides structured templates for recording, managing and publicly disclosing AI usage.

Most technology skills in the sector are picked up on the job, tool by tool. These programmes add the layer underneath: how data is structured, how AI systems work, how to assess a supplier and how to set the governance a board will ask about.

Each programme is built to close that gap at whatever pace a team can manage, with material that stays useful long after the modules are finished. Participants come out with something to run: an audit, a framework, a set of templates, a governance position.

Everything taught here comes from work DTTT does with destinations. The published frameworks, the quarterly research programme and the advisory practice are the source material.

Our on-demand programmes are unlike any other programmes.

New for 2026

Using AI well and being able to show it.

Two new programmes, built from what DTTT saw working with destination teams on AI. One builds the digital knowledge that makes AI tools genuinely useful. The other covers how an organisation governs, records and discloses the way it uses AI.

How a module works

Every module runs in two parts.

The idea is built first, then handed over as something the participant does themselves before they leave the module.

Part one

Why it matters

This approach builds technical understanding step by step using live destination scenarios. By working directly with realistic examples such as turning basic content logs into integrated campaign plans, internal teams quickly bridge the gap between initial theory and strategic execution.

Part two

Putting it to work

Each module moves directly into applied execution inside the browser environment. Participants compare software features to identify the best tool for each assignment, taking away sample files and tested prompts to complete tasks.

This is Module 4.2 of Digital Literacy for Effective AI, running exactly as it does inside the Academy.

Programme 02

AI Transparency Learning Programme

A programme built around the DTTT AI Transparency Framework, the open standard for how organisations record, govern and disclose their use of AI. It covers applying the framework in practice, assessing AI involvement in published work and building a governance position an organisation can stand behind publicly.

Participants work with the framework's published models and tools throughout, applying them to their own content and workflows as they go.

What the programme covers

Seven parts of the framework

Transparency Model

Recording AI involvement in work on a consistent scale, applied across a content operation.

Productivity Model

Measuring where AI produces time savings and where it does not.

Environmental Model

Communicating the energy intensity of AI use.

Content Integrity Model

Assessing the risks attached to AI-generated content before publication.

CARD

AI Transparency Card

Grading a piece of work and generating a disclosure card that can be embedded alongside it.

ETHICS

AI Ethics Consideration Tool

Working through the ethical dimensions of a proposed AI task.

Organisational governance

Setting principles, disclosure practice and internal process, and preparing the position a board or a public audience will ask about.

Outcome

Certification in the application and governance of AI in a destination management context, alongside a disclosure and governance position the organisation can publish.

Format

How the programmes run.

Programmes are made up of modules a participant works through in their own time, with applied material alongside and certification at the end.

Step 01

Start any time, move at your own pace

Programmes open the moment a participant enrols. Progress is saved in the Academy, so a programme can be picked up again after a busy period.

Step 02

Modules built to be applied

Formats vary by programme. Some lead with video lessons, downloadable templates and case studies. The newer programmes are interactive and worked through in the browser, with exercises done in real tools.

Step 03

Assessment and certification

Each programme ends with an assessment and a DTTT certification, recognised across the DTTT network.

Step 04

Continued access

Programme material stays available through the learning resource hub after completion, so teams can return to templates and case material when the work comes round.

For teams

Dedicated internal programmes for destination teams

We deliver our full suite of programmes as private internal cohorts shaped around your current regional workload. Participants apply core methodologies directly to active assignments, turning training sessions into productive strategic delivery cycles.

Option 01

Whole-department delivery for lasting team alignment

Enrolling your entire team simultaneously builds a common working vocabulary across the department. Shared learning keeps strategic discussions active long past course completion, equipping staff to apply consistent frameworks to daily destination management tasks.

Option 02

Regional cohorts for cross-destination alignment

A national or regional body delivers the programme across its full network of partner destinations. Simultaneous cohort learning establishes a consistent baseline standard across all local teams, streamlining joint initiatives and ensuring unified regional execution.

Option 03

Built around your own material

Sessions use the organisation's own context and challenges. Participants work on live material during the programme, so what comes out of it is usable immediately.

Access

Included in destination membership.

Every programme on this page comes with membership. Members enrol from their dashboard and start the same day.

Route 01 — Individuals and members

Through membership

Academy access is part of destination membership, with enrolment included or discounted depending on tier. Members take as many programmes as they need across the year, and new programmes are added to the Academy as they launch.

Route 02 — Organisations and institutions

For organisations and institutions

Private cohorts for a single organisation or a network of destinations, and curriculum integration for universities through the Academia Partnership Programme.
