With this live session, we'll kick off Module 3 of our Sustainability Leadership Programme, which focuses on leveraging data and measuring impact.

Before focusing on the three different parts into which the session is divided, we'll start the session with a quick check-in to discuss what's in each DMO's data pool.

1. How do We Begin to Build a Foundation?

Through this first explanatory part of the session, we'll dive into how industry-leader organisations look at data and uncover how you can best identify your organisation's data needs.

We'll also explore the complexity and complications that data can bring into the organisational picture by means of analysing how we can best overcome data difficulties.

2. Aligning Everyone Around Goals

We'll start the second part of the session by highlighting the importance of establishing alignment around the goals of the new sustainable strategy. Then we'll provide an overview of the methods, techniques and tools that your organisation can implement by means of achieving this alignment. Lastly, you'll be able to get a better understanding of how stakeholder commitment can be attained so you can work towards the achievement of this necessary goal.

3. Measuring Impact, Monitoring Progress

The last part of this first session of Module 3 will start by focusing on explaining how setting goals at the micro- and macro-levels can help your organisation measure impact and monitor the progress of the sustainability strategy, but also on how measurement can be broken down for a better user of the gathered data.

The session will finish by focusing on why accountability matters and how we can improve our organisation's monitoring and reporting to facilitate improvement implementations.
