The BanSerio! Scavenger Hunt, part of the Aruba Tourism Authority’s national awareness initiative BanSerio!, invites families to rediscover Aruba through play, storytelling and exploration. Now in its third completed edition (2025), Scavenger Hunt 3.0 bridges education, skill building, and tourism by inspiring local families to explore cultural landmarks, natural sites and overlooked heritage spaces. It transforms passive awareness into active participation, nurturing curiosity, teamwork and pride in the island’s identity.
During the summer break, children and parents work together to complete missions at selected cultural and natural sites, answering questions, performing small challenges, and checking in digitally through the island’s official myAruba App and Google Forms.
The result is an engaging and educational experience that blends digital innovation and skill development with cultural storytelling, strengthening community trust and deepening local connection to Aruba’s heritage.
