Charel van Dam is Marketing Director at the Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions (NBTC). In this position, he is responsible for marketing and branding destination Netherlands as well as NBTC’s international network.
NBTC is the national destination management organisation of and for the Netherlands. NBTC provides a national vision for tourism, Perspective 2030, which it uses to inspire, connect and facilitate cities, regions, business owners and other stakeholders to ensure a liveable, attractive and valuable destination for residents, visitors and companies.
Charel has a background in communication, branding, digital marketing and has worked in a variety of commercial and non-commercial roles in the travel industry. As travel is his passion, Charel always has at least one next trip already planned.
