Dolomiti Paganella is a mountain resort area situated in Trentino Alto Adige, Italy’s Northernmost region bordering Austria and Switzerland. It encompasses the cities of Molveno, Andalo, Paganella, Cavedago and Spormaggiore, but most significantly, it is located right at the feet of the Brenta Dolomites which are part of the Italian UNESCO World Heritage site.

The new journey of the DMO started with the application of the St. Gallen Model for Destination Management, a model developed by the Institute for Systemic Management and Public Governance at the St. Gallen University in Switzerland. This model aims at identifying strategic visitor flows and creating a common understanding for decision-makers in order to take purposeful decisions. This gave the organisation the necessary tools to develop a new strategy and masterplan together with the key tourism players of Dolomiti Paganella.
