In the afternoon of day 4 of XDW, we had multiple inspiring talks and discussions on digitals from different perspectives.

We were joined by Wiebke from TravellAR and Viktor from Spot AR who discussed city guides and bringing interactivity to apps. The panel suggested that with technological advancements, it is time to focus on the quality of content and what we interpret about cities and destinations through apps.

Later we had Tim Betzin from Rausgegangen sharing explaining the project initiative and how it has evolved through the pandemic and during the recovery period. Some key takeaways of this session include:

  1. Digital platforms provide a great opportunity to create a connected booking system and introduce events and different cultural aspects of the destination all in one place.
  2. Platforms such as Rausgegangen act as connectors by sitting in between creators and organisers to the audience.
  3. Top tip by Tip is to pursue the DNA, it embodies your talents and is the best thing you can do.
