What determines tourism's recovery?

As we come to publish this report, global security hangs in the balance. It is too early to know the extent or outcome of recent developments. We stand in solidarity with Ukraine. Whilst we know that the visitor economy is not immune to global events, we can take solace, knowing that travellers are increasingly driven by their values and a strong desire for experiences, which enrich the soul.

After two challenging years and now a rapidly emerging political situation, it is important for our industry to remain constant; investing in the long-term development of digital experiences and continuing to transition, aligned with clear sustainability goals.

The DTTT’s 2022 Trends Report reflects the key developments our industry is undergoing right now.

The report covers 6 key trends:

  • Partnerships
  • Flexibility is key
  • Domestic vs. International
  • Sustainability
  • Accessibility in all its forms
  • Purpose in tech
