The main goal of this activity is to help you gather a collective view on sustainability amongst your organisation, industry and peers.
Make sure to choose those individuals that can result most useful for your "Sustainable Journey" as they will help make decisions, provide feedback and help build the new direction of the DMO.

The main goal of this activity is to help you gather a collective view on sustainability amongst your organisation, industry and peers by creating a Diverse Empowered Team. Make sure to choose those individuals that can result most useful for your "Sustainable Journey" as they will help make decisions, provide feedback and help build the new direction of the DMO.
The first part of the activity will allow you to understand the importance of applying Design Thinking techniques to sustainability, allowing you to better understand your role as a sustainable leader. You'll then have to reflect on whether you are already applying these within your organisation and about how you think you could use them in the future.
During the second part of the activity, the creation of your Diverse Empowered Team will come into play. Using the boxes provided you should write down the four individuals that your Sustainability Journey could benefit the most from, and keep in mind that they don't necessarily have to be employees from your DMO. Remember, including external perspectives, such as those from locals or travellers, can massively help in developing a comprehensive strategy.
Once you have these, you'll have to contact them and see if they can participate in this journey. In the event of them not being able to, find other individuals that will be able to support your work.
