The objective of this activity is to help you and your team gather ideas.

The objective of this activity is to help you and your team gather ideas on how the takeaways provided by the different case studies of the first module could be applied to your DMOs and to help you process all the information by gathering a complete overview of the cases.

On week 3, you already had the chance to work with this template to reflect on the case studies provided. This week we would like you to use it to work on the case studies provided in week 4!

If you are ready and want to get hands-on with the activity, you can download the template below or click at the bottom of the page 👀

What Does the Template Include?

When you open the template, you will see a different section is provided for each of the cases covered in each of the weeks dedicated to On-Demand Content. Each section refers to each of the organisations that the case looks at, the title of the case study, a brief description of it and the key takeaways that you'll be able to gather from it. In addition, you'll find a link to direct you to each of the case studies.

Our hope is that you'll be able to go through all of the case studies. Nonetheless, we understand that DMOs are extremely busy and thus, we hope that the brief descriptions and key takeaways will help you focus on those case studies you believe will help you best achieve your objectives.

How to Fill in the Template?

The steps to fill in each section of the template can be divided into three:

  1. Before reading the case study. With the information provided for each case study, analyse how watching that case study could be profitable for your DMO.
  2. While reading the case study. Add coloured sticky notes to the Mural with ideas that pop up in your mind during the reading. Please, choose one colour and use it throughout the template, as this will allow to identify all participants contributions and gather more ideas.
  3. After reading the case study. Gather with your team and ideate on the ideas written on the sticky notes. This will allow you to start thinking of initiatives your DMO might adopt when developing the sustainability strategy.
